Let’s see if JSN can do it on his own. He never, ever has done that. Massive talent around him at OSU. DK and Tyler here. We will see, I still don’t think he is a lead dog. He has to have others to make him good.
Now we have zero speed deep threats. 4.48 is what JSN has for speed.
Yup. I love JSN, and we can build around him, but to me he is a workhorse slot, a better version of when Bobby Engram played for us, with Doug Baldwin hybrid-ability. I'm sure they will draft a speed demon big burner at WR somewhere, but what they are doing lately makes me think they want to grind it out next year, nothing fancy on offense, big tight ends that can rumble, rotating RBs, a fullback lol, a QB who can disperse the ball or run for eight free yards and a feckin' first down, instead of Geno brain-lock end zone pick-6, 10-win nuthin'.
Even without a QB and two receivers, I think we are on the ups with these moves, and this was the time to do it. We have to clear out contracts and the lingering PC era, and this was a fairly surgical way, with lots more ahead.
Right now they are +6000 to win the SB next season, but those odds might go up after this crazy whirlwind.
