What about this tape says Sam Darnold is a "game manager" ??? lol
Well, they are playing SEA, and SEA always makes opposing QBs look good. But he's in SEA now, so he likely won't have much time to throw. Just a guess, but he'll probably spend most of his time here running for his life.
Amazing analysis. You should write for ESPN.

Why can't people take 5 fucking minutes to research shit? No "game manager" has ever thrown for 34 touchdowns. Minnesota's offensive line was on par if not slightly worse than Seattle's in allowing pressure.

Where are you getting that MIN's O line was as bad or worse than the Seahawks' in pass protection? According to this, they were 2nd in pass block win rate and Seattle 21st.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/410 ... s-rankings

On the other hand, PFF had them around 26th in pass blocking efficiency but had Seattle at 31.

Free agent linemen acquisitions are thinning out fast!!!

I guess we're going to coach-up our current players and build via the draft?

Woulda been nice to get Will Fries.

Not a lot out there because linemen are so hard to find / develop they say.

I said "in allowing pressure." They allowed a higher pressure rate than Seattle.

I didn't in "pass block win rate." I didn't say "pass blocking efficiency."

I'm just asking where you got that stat because PFF seemed to think Geno got pressured considerably more often than Darnold.

This pisses me off. I was hoping on them making a legit play for Fries. When I saw Josh Jones last night, I watched film, checked stats and read a lot about him. The only thing I can think is that he is a depth piece, because there are reasons for him not being a starter. Pull your head out JS, bust a real move on the oline.

Not to mention All-pro Joe Thuney who was acquired by the Browns for a 4th round pick. I guess we couldn't have used him. Maybe John can use the pick on another Bradford/Haynes type of IOL.

He replaces George Fant. Just more scraps that John collects and throws at the O Line problem. It's ridiculous. I mean, it hasn't worked for a decade, but better keep at it.

It's sarcasm. Do you need a hug?
