You guys know what would have really greatly increased our chances of winning today? Starting Miller who would have been right on schedule.

Why can't our guys throw the ball to first base on defense?

Polanco doesn't have the arm for 3B. Hopefully Bliss was just off balance or something.
I don't believe so. The skips are intentional for whatever reason. Polo is a former longtime SS. He has a good enough arm

According to ESPN Kerry Carpenter is hitting .265 with a .250 OBP.

How does that work.
6 for 23 AB for his average of .261
6 for 24 PA for his OBP of .250
0 walks or HBP
So is his other PA = fielders choice or sacrifice?
Sac fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dan's reasoning ability....o.k. one crappy pitcher can't get lucky so let me put another crappy pitcher out there to see if it sticks.
He just got lucky today with Bizarro I guess. He better play the Seattle lotto tonight.

Thankfully the Gnats are sending a similar parade of sucky relievers. We just need our better hitters to keep hitting cover for the automatic outs in our lineup.

Kerry Carpenter's sacrifice fly on March 27 counted as a plate appearance but not as an at-bat:
