Yea he has been absolute stud. Didn't pitch well in the minors but amazing work in the bigs. Yikes Santos or Thornton for the 8th. Gonna need more runs. Btw Brash finally threw today and pitched well. He is getting close!!!

OK, here's another one of my pet-peeve managing tactics we see...

so Vargas just retired the side on 7 pitches in his first inning of work. Now why yank him? Send him back out for another inning. Don't burn another arm just because, what, you want to limit guys to 1 inning? I don't get that approach. He's a good arm, talented arm, just cut thru 3 batters effortlessly, leave him out there
