I really like this draft. I am looking forward to the first missed tackle or dropped pass and the "fire JS" drums start a banging because - that's what always happens here

Grading the Draft
I'm giving Seattle an A grade - top to bottom a solid draft. Zabel and Emmanwori are immediate impact starters. Emmanwori is almost the linebacker they desperately needed in that thin room as he can play in the box. They bolstered the tight end room with the available talent. Milroe was a huge surprise to me - a pleasant surprise - I am excited to see what he can do. NFL QB's are now required to be athletic - perhaps more so that accurate - and they have the time to develop him while having packages for him immediately avail. Love this pick. Mills out of Notre Dame was a stud on a very talented defense. You can never have too many healthy RB's and that kid from Miami is a bruiser - probably insurance for when K9 injures his labia or is not resigned due to the cost. Some decent receiver depth - nothing flashy but this doesn't seem like an offense that is intended to be - much more purpose-based to compliment the defense. A lot of capitol spent on the offense - where it was needed most, including 5 guys that can play on the oline (including the TE's).

Re: Grading the Draft
I give it an A as well. This is so hilarious. A 7th round pick thinking he might be getting a prank call. Or was he just making fun of Sanders. LOL

SO great! I don't know what is more perfect - Sanders falling to the fifth, or realizing he's about to live in CLEVELAND!
Re: Grading the Draft
After he and Dad make a huge deal about being picky about where he wants to play. Gets the worst org in Football. lol

B-
I like Zabel and Emmanwori, but they could have done more to address WR and D line by trading back for an extra 3rd round pick. Could have had a pick in the 28-34 range along with 50, 52, 82, 92, and another earlier 3rd rounder (70-80 range). Too many needs left unaddressed.

Re: Grading the Draft
That was a really good draft, so much potential there, and none of that L.J. Collier BS. Even the guys who are questionable (like Arroyo) are far from "no chance in hell" types.
Re: Grading the Draft
Yeah. I don't blame Shadeur as much as I blame Deon. No coach or GM is gonna wanna get called out on ESPN by Deon after every game. These guys thinking they are so superior - their brand is above all else - shades of The Great Cringe who got run out of town. Jesus, rad the room, no sane GM is taking that kind of risk of a first round salary or putting his coach in the cross hairs of always-looking-for-a-microphone Deon. No way.
How's life on the road???
Re: Grading the Draft
Dude - just stop. This is a solid class. You don't draft nine starters in one draft. It doesn't matter what they do, you are going to hand wring and lament. THIS IS THE TEAM, this is the draft. Get on board and look at the potential. Stop 'what ifing" all the time. This team won ten games last year and just added at least three starters and a killer QB option and the next Kam. The glass is half full, dude. This team is well positioned. Most think it is one of THE top classes - and you're complaining. Think about that.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 6:13 pmI like Zabel and Emmanwori, but they could have done more to address WR and D line by trading back for an extra 3rd round pick.
