Taveras' first 3 AB's left us wanting but he came through twice when it mattered most.

He hit the game-tying single to knock in Mastrobunny, then stole 2nd to be in position to score the 6th, and ultimately winning run on D-Mo's double.

Of course, Munoz is the savior today. Who else?

You know he is a lot like the blueprint from the Robles get. He is a speedy former top prospect who swings from the left side (SH). If you look at 2023 and 2024 he could be a good player. In 2023 he was near full time and managed to hit to a 101 OPS+.2.9 BWAR 143 games 14 HR 31 doubles 3 triples 14/18 SB .266, .312, .421. In 2024 he ran a little more going 23/29 in SB.

He is probably just a place holder. He has been worth 0 WAR in 2025. Zero WAR is much preferable to getting one of those -1.4 WAR types.
