Pac 12 opener game thread
Re: Pac 12 opener game thread
Can't get a loose ball and very low Basketball IQ. Can't even get a shot off in the end. Lame.

What a great time to be a Husky fan. Nothing like following up a season ending in Vegas with one ending in NYC. Next thing you know Hop will quit saying he is wore out.

McDaniels may have shown his true colors tonight. As I said, I'd have benched his ass....and I'd have benched his ass against USC too. No room for that BS.

This team looks like the LSU team with Simmons. One talented player on a team going nowhere.

Yep that kid has issues. Hopefully not another Marcus Punk Peters.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 5:35 amMcDaniels may have shown his true colors tonight. As I said, I'd have benched his ass....and I'd have benched his ass against USC too. No room for that BS.

Romar light. Street ballers. Pretty good defense terrible offense with little discipline. It was obvious when that giant clown hit that three that the game was over. He is something to behold.

His brother hasn't exactly been drama free. McDaniels has had three shitty halves in a row, and most of it looks mental. The kid isn't ready....but some dumb ass NBA Exec will make him a 1st round pick in a few months.D-train wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 5:43 amYep that kid has issues. And it was obvious to everyone but us that was the play. I heard we had Timmons on the close out? Genius.

There's a reason the Basketball Power Index had the Huskies ranked 8th in the Pac-12 going into this game.
Anyway, just hope they can scrape into one of the lesser tournaments. You have to wonder, if Hopkins can't win with this bunch why should we believe he's ever going to build a team that can compete with the big boys?

I'm not sure this "bunch" is all that great.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 3:01 pmThere's a reason the Basketball Power Index had the Huskies ranked 8th in the Pac-12 going into this game.

I'm already seeing the side effects of hamstringing the rest of the bench in favor of only 6 guys on the court.
BPJ, Battle, Hardy, Roberts aren't benefiting at all by sitting on the bench while clowns like Hamier Wright get 30 minutes. I think Hop has kind of fucked this one up a bit... he needed to play a deeper bench before conference play. Sadly I think its killed some of these guys confidence.
