5. My personal whine: 1st base. It's not quite a black hole but it's close. Rowdy and his loop ass swing only works on mistakes. Just an automatic out plus limited range defensively. Solano I just can't figure out. This situation should not be acceptable to management.

The Mariners problem is they'll call up Young and he'll probably be in the lineup over Moore who has the third best bat on the team so far this year.

If he takes Williamson's playing time.. fine.

But they usually just screw Moore over.

Moore with 65 plate appearances, Williamson with 91....

And no surprise Moores numbers start dipping as soon as his playing time starts to dwindle. Why are Masterboner and Taveras getting plate appearances ahead of Moore too?

Moore isn't an everyday player - that and he sucks. Add in the fact that he's becoming a real liability in the field as evidenced by his last few games.

Yes we need more players but Young is a good first step. We need Ford up badly so that Cal can actually start taking a few days off so he's not burnt out come August. I don't mind Cal DH'ing though - I think that basically counts as a day off lol - but let Ford start to catch 2-3 games in a 6 day week to rest Cal more.
Raley will be back in week or two and when that happens Tellez will be cut - sad thing is though that Raley sucks also. They seemingly are willing to let Taveras suck at the plate cause he plays good D - although watching last nights game i'd tell him his chances of catching the ball increase dramatically if you keep your eyes open and on the ball, lol.
