My vote is obviously for O'Hearn (Bat), then Fairbanks & maybe Chapman. Low impact moves. Of course not before calling up Young & Ford.

What about Locklear? Seems insane he isn't getting another shot

Good batting average and OBP but he's having a power outage in AAA.
Just 4 homers in 230 plate appearances. He needs his slugging % to be about 50 points higher or else it's probably going to translate pretty poorly at the ML level.

Understood, but how do you think it would compare to what we have at 1st base right now? Would it be more of the same or an upgrade?Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 1:52 pmGood batting average and OBP but he's having a power outage in AAA.

A metal folding chair would be an upgrade over Solano at this point.

Mariners connected to Jarren Duran, he's's not named here as a possible trade candidate though he's in the last year of his contract isn't he? When I say that I mean fantasy trades

In this trade proposal, Seattle would acquire Duran for right-hander Bryce Miller, second baseman Michael Arroyo (Mariners No. 4 prospect) and catcher Harry Ford (Mariners No. 5 prospect).

Snowballs chance in hell.

He's not a very good outfielder. Not a strong arm, low assist rate. Lacks power at the plate. Hits doubles and triples, which, if keeps at a high rate will balance lack of HR prowess. K's at a high rate.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 6:04 pmMariners connected to Jarren Duran, he's's not named here as a possible trade candidate though he's in the last year of his contract isn't he? Proposed trade prognosis: Pure rape of the M's. If the Red Sox threw in the two Garrett's, Crochet and Whitlock, maybe we talk.
