Well they beat the russkies in Moscow, and so did Italy. Interesting, Italy has a pretty good record in basketball

OKC Thunder tie the series.
I think all the social justice shit in sports is horrible - you don't end racism by putting "End Racism" in the NFL endzone. That shit is designed to create division and emphasize race. I see the players mostly as going along with everything to maintain their marketability and not get blackballed from the league. Plus most of them will be ignorant to a lot of things, because they'll be so focused on their sport. If you pay a guy millions of dollars to play a sport, then you mostly won't have to worry about him speaking out against anything.. he will go along with whatever the league says. Their agents will coach them accordingly.
Big Pharma is another fun aspect of watching professional sports. You also get advertisements for alcohol and military propaganda.
Hopefully, the Pacers will regain momentum at home in game 3.

I just shake my head every time I see that, they might as well put "End Greed" or "End Lust". No racist is going to read that and go hmmm, I think I should stop being racist. This isn't something you tell people to stop doing, this is something that society has to gradually grow out of.DanielVogelbach wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 3:19 amI think all the social justice shit in sports is horrible - you don't end racism by putting "End Racism" in the NFL endzone.

I think you're correct but I don't think the message was aimed at racists to not be racists. I think it was aimed at non-racisists to challenge racism, don't be apthetic.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 10:39 pmI just shake my head every time I see that, they might as well put "End Greed" or "End Lust". That's a great point too. How about End Murder?DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 10:39 pmI just shake my head every time I see that, they might as well put "End Greed" or "End Lust". I was more focused on the idea that bringing attention to race doesn't help. Black History Month does not help. Basically, these types of things subtly say that these groups need help and aren't able to do it by themselves.
End Racism endzone is a mockery of the fan also, because they're basically a bunch of white guys watching black guys play football. Like just give me a normal Seahawks endzone please. What they do just stokes the flames of divisiveness. It reminds the liberals that the big problem is racism and it pisses off the conservatives who wish the NFL wouldn't to that shit. Nobody asked for social justice endzone phrases.
