JFK assassination revisited
I recently saw some new videos out on youtube with interesting looks into the available evidence (including recent released documents) and scrutiny of video. I've vacillated between single gunman and conspiracy theories over the years and found these to be interesting...

The first video is of a body language expert breaking down video of Oswald speaking to the press following his arrest and LBJ addressing the nation, among others. Only 24 minutes, a fascinating watch.

178 people in Dealey Plaza gave witness statements. This is where they thought the shots came from
49 Book Depository
21 Grassy Knoll
30 Elsewhere
78 Couldn’t tell
Effectively, nobody there had a fucking clue. So I always disregard the witness testimonies. The cameras of course do tell a story.
Here is my biggest thought. If the CIA or the US government were involved, could they really not think of something more clever than a crap shoot in front of hundreds of witnesses and hope that the public will believe it was this nutter? They would be better off driving him into a tunnel in Paris with a drunk driver at the helm.
Imagine that secret meeting, “Right lads, make the car drive past this big building where our nutter works. We will shoot him from behind a fence with a rifle and get our shooter to vanish. Trust me, everyone will believe it’s the nutter. Let’s do it….. “ As sarcastic as I am being, making it an accident would be far cleaner than putting a bullet in his head.
The CIA is not that dumb and not that smart to execute the leader in such a sloppy fashion.

I agree that the CIA is not a stupid organization, but some of the "outside" nutters may be.
Re: JFK assassination revisited
I see where you're coming from, but sometimes the best spot is the most obvious. People are notoriously poor eyewitnesses. There's an old saying... ' A person isn't stupid, but people are stupid'. Perhaps the crowd effect actually worked to their advantage.mostonmike wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 9:18 pmHere is my biggest thought. Personally, I just can't buy the lone shooter explanation.

Agreed. Same principle as with people who think that 9/11 was an inside job. Why would anyone come up with the stupid plan of detonating explosives inside the WTC when thousands of cameras are trained right on them in broad daylight instead of at night immediately after having the two planes hit the towers almost simultaneously (which would still be exposed), and why would anyone come up with the stupid plan of assassinating JFK in a crowded area instead of firing the shots in an area that isn't? Not to mention for both you'd be relying on hundreds of people to keep a secret about such a heinous thing and that's not going to hold up for long.mostonmike wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 9:18 pm178 people in Dealey Plaza gave witness statements. Why did building 7 fall when it wasn't even hit?DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 7:38 pmAgreed. Same principle as with people who think that 9/11 was an inside job. I don't think it was the CIA, or an inside job. Who had just purchased and insured the WTC's? Who didn't show up to work at the WTC that day?
The truth already came out, it was just swept under the rug (same as when they assassinated JFK) because the same people control our government and media.

Re: JFK assassination revisited
"On September 11, 2001, the structure was substantially damaged by debris when the nearby North Tower (1 World Trade Center) collapsed. The debris ignited fires on multiple lower floors of the building, which continued to burn uncontrolled throughout the afternoon. The building's internal fire suppression system lacked water pressure to fight the fires. 7 WTC began to collapse when a critical internal column buckled and triggered cascading failure of nearby columns throughout, which were first visible from the exterior with the crumbling of a rooftop penthouse structure at 5:20:33 pm. This initiated the progressive collapse of the entire building at 5:21:10 pm, according to FEMA,[1]: 23 while the 2008 NIST study placed the final collapse time at 5:20:52 pm."bpj wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 8:31 pmWhy did building 7 fall when it wasn't even hit?

Again, this was in broad daylight so I'm willing to accept this as what happened. Anything otherwise to me has to be proven by a viable source, and not just asserted by a political web site or people seeking attention which is where just about all of this comes from.

Re: JFK assassination revisited
Let's just say i don't think it unlikely that LBJ and CIA leadership could have been motivated and capable of pulling it off.
