It's so odd the difference between liberals and conservatives when it comes to protesting. Liberals are constantly in the streets waving signs, totally overrating the importance of their useless existence, screaming unintelligibly, throwing shit, looking like total losers that you'd want nothing to do with, backing up traffic and making things inconvenient for people who they not only never win over but end up making them hate their stupid guts whereas other than 1/6 and maybe a few smaller incidents conservatives don't ever do this. Even when they're whining about "election fraud", they pretty much do it all on social media.
Greeting from Big Bear - David have you been here?

What I have noticed a lot is that leftists can rarely ever support their supposed position on anything - as soon as they get challenged they get out maneuvered quickly by rationalists and then it's always the same - throwing a fit, yelling, and of course, you know when you've checkmated them because they call you names, call you a racist, etc. It's page one of the handbook. "I love it when they make it personal, it means they have no political argument left" is a fav quote of mine from Margaret Thatcher and it is so spot on accurate. Ask someone with TDS to be specific about their outrage target and you will get a laundry list of broad generalizations and the long list of stuff that was debunked years ago like 'kids in cages" or 'russia collusion" or "OMG Charlottesville!" and then the final outrage of "OMG he's like Hitler" which is my personal fav, especially when you point out he is pro Israel and anti war - literally the opposite of Hitler - and you just see those " veins popping on their outraged necks. The moment you make them dig deep on any policy - they fold and get mad. Like I always say in here, wash rinse repeat... for the last ten years.
Haven't been up there is about 12 years or so but hopefully will again someday soon, I'm probably about an hour away including the uphill drive.

But yeah, every time I see these people it's just embarrassing and I feel like I'm lowering myself just by even looking at them. They're like stupid, entitled children.

And they think they're out there "making a difference". PUH-LEEZE. How about staying home and making a difference in your children's lives? Oh wait, they handed them a cell phone and a Playstation and told them that those were their parents. Never mind.

What a shit show. These protests are such inorganic, top-down orchestrated political theatre. Trump was already in office for 4 years and didn't deport as many people as Obama or Biden. They just media hyped this latest round it to charge everyone up.

I think there's a cycle to it. Every once in a while the system needs a highly charged narrative for the libs to hit the streets on.

People need to start recognizing politics is fake and exploring better ways to channel their energy.

I wish I could say I won't even pay attention, but of course I will be consuming some media on it. I also am not sure how violent it will be or what kind of law enforcement counters will occur. There is always the possibility of major impact along the lines of Covid travel restrictions. My gut tells me it will be a giant nothing burger, but I won't know for sure until after the protests.
Why don't you follow your own advice?
Do you see me constantly making posts about what the "news" puts on your screen?

Or, do you see me making posts about how it's all a fake presentation?

Do you see me supporting political parties and illegitimate "governments", or do you see me supporting objective morality and voluntaryism.

I don't vote. I don't watch the news.

I consumed maybe 5 minutes of media following the hyped up No Kings protest.

I view politics as inconsequential and unimportant. If voting mattered, they wouldn't let you do it.

I have never once made any comments legitimizing any of the clown show. I'm doing exactly the contrary, which is encouraging people to stop channeling energy into politics and start focusing that energy into things that are less satanic. Government is mind control and nothing that you should ever support if you understand morality. (do no harm to others)

Please show me where I am suggesting that politics is important or that your vote has any impact on the course of "government"? I'm very consistent in my position. Government is criminal by it's very nature. Government is only necessary to legitimize things that would otherwise be seen as criminal e.g. taking money from your neighbor without their consent to pay for something you want or using legal tender laws and printing up fake currency and giving it to your friends. Politics is fake. The only thing that can ever change the course of "government" is non compliance.

So, please explain yourself. Where am I not following my own advice? Give me one example.
