More tough luck for Young. We should be blowing these bums out.

Man, Cole Young is really putting up good PAs and putting good wood on that baseball right now! Get this guy into the 2 hole!

Rangers announcers have the audacity to spend that entire inning crying about how fly balls aren't flying well in Texas...
Re: The 1/2 Way Ranger Danger very Stranger GT 6.27.25
I'm also so tired of the piss poor baserunning on fly balls with less than 2 outs. How did Canzone not score on Young's double?
He should have been sitting about 10 ft from 3rd base when the ball landed. Here's the thing, even if from that distance you can't see that the ball is going to be high up on the fence, you should just read the defender turning his back. That means, the OF would have to make a miraculous leaping catch at the wall -- if it's to be caught -- then likely crash into wall with his momentum, gather himself, then throw some 250 ft to 2nd base. I'm no expert, but that seems to require AT LEAST 3.0 seconds from ball in glove to the ball reaching 2b. You can be at 3b and make it 90ft to 2b in that amount of time.
So even if you don't read that ball on the wall, USE YOUR BRAIN! The OF is going to need at least 3.0 seconds to get that ball back to 2b to tag you out. Get going so you can score on that. Fuck
