Half joking, I know it's a little easier to navigate the USA police state if you have your papers in order.

Every year around Independence day a swearing-in ceremony for new American citizens gets 45 seconds on a news report. Lots of smiles, applause and individual stories of folks who spend 6, 8, 10 years to become an American. And they come from all over. This is the U.S. through the front door.

Then there are other stories of Mexican, Chinese and other well funded women who come to the US on a vacation visa and turn it into a maternity leave. Not to mention millions of fence jumpers and cartel indentured servants who do the same since the 'wink and nod open door policy' of the last 40 years. This is the U.S. through the back door.

BC was established by a High Court ruling in the late 1800's. But that did not make it a law (Congress). It only become the 'law of the case' (precedent).
Congress is charged to make "uniform laws of naturalization". BC violates the enactment of said laws.

Liberals would never allow a willy nilly encroachment on their own rights and property....but somehow they justify it upon the rest of U.S.
Its as if freedom is a universal right that everyone else but themselves can pay for.

I'm "yes" and "no" on birthright citizenship. First, "NO." If neither parent is a citizen, then they go back. All of them. If either one of the parents are a citizen, then "YES." I have no problem with a kid born here if one parent is from a foreign country or if the kid is born overseas. Both from a foreign country, no way!

I'm talking about how ridiculous it is to think that a person can't come visit me without papers. I'm talking about how ridiculous it is that we celebrate our borders, which are essentially plantation walls. The slave owners can cross them with ease. Only the slaves need documentation to pass the ports.

It's not my "country" by my consent. I was forced into my social security number. I have no issue with people voluntarily paying to defend their community. I have an issue with taxation, statism, tyranny, crime, legal tender laws, "borders", "countries", etc. You shouldn't be forced to follow any laws outside of natural law unless you consented to a contract.

I doubt I am confused, I just see it all as different scales.

Houses should have locks.
Local communities should have rules (HOA).
Cities should have laws.
Counties should have laws.
States should have laws.
The country should have laws.

There are no difference between locks and laws. They are there to protect people and property... to work against crime. That isn't saying that all laws are lawful or helpful at all.
