What? You mean you place no credence in the rumor that RW is coming back to the Seahawks? We're giving up a couple of ball boys and three blocking sleds to get him.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Jul 21, 2025 1:44 pmI think the Youtube bloggers are the worst. They come up with the most ridiculous click-bait headlines.

Breaking, but not worthy of a new post:
Jamal Adams signs with Raiders and reunites with PC. I'm sure that will work out great.

Perhaps it's just me, but the NFL seems to hold the record for going back to the well too often. The notion that a coach goes somewhere else, so certain players end up following him? Or the idea that an incredibly talented yet troublesome player can be pulled off the scrap heap indefinitely and given 'one more chance' because some coach or exec thinks that he's the one who can salvage said player (re: Antonio Brown). Once the toothpaste is out of the tube, it can't be put back.
As for Jamal Adams? It's over. He's done. It amazes me to think that teams continually sign these washed up retreads.

The NFL deals in bodies and these aren't guaranteed contracts we are talking about, it's not going to cost the raiders much to see if there's anything left in the tank with Adams as a depth piece. It's interesting to me Adams still wants to bother with it. It can't be about the money unless he's already broke. The Raiders aren't going to be paying him anything
Re: Breaking: Noah Fant released
I'm aware of the financial ramifications (or lack thereof). For me, it's about team chemistry. Why keep rolling the dice on these mentally unstable problem children who offer nothing but disruptions?
And I wouldn't consider Adams a depth piece. But that's just me.

I would consider Jamal Adams a leader. That personality is what teammates respect in a football player. He's the sort of player you want on your side

“We didn’t even know each other at the time, but it’s come full circle coming back together,” Crosby said. “We know a lot of people mutually, so it was like we’ve known each other from a distance, but I immediately felt like I’ve known him for years finally getting to meet in person. He’s got the right type of energy.”
"He's dynamic, (he) flies around. It's like everybody else, keep stacking days and show up with positive energy. I think he's going to help us."
Fellow safety Jeremy Chinn also believes Adams can be an important addition to the room.
“It’s super exciting to have him,” he said. “I’ve always been a big supporter of his game, and to have him in the building is only going to help us. He’s one of (coach) Pete’s (Carroll) guys. His ability to affect the game in so many ways, from playing close to the line of scrimmage to just being around the ball, (will help our defense).”
