Agreed 100. What a pathetic seasonSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 11:45 amToo bad his talent was wasted with an idiot OC and head coach who was mentally clocked out all season. Doubt we'll see an arm like that at Montlake again anytime soon.

LOL I can name you 9.Michael K. wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 12:19 amComparing those two only works from the waste to the shoulders. Josh Allen looks like Marcus Allen compared to Eason when he moves around.
Terrible decision making the second half of the season, zero mobility inside the pocket, no escapability or foot speed. It's not just about arm talent anymore. Name an NFL QB less mobile than Eason.
Sure, that probably doesn't change coming back another year, but he can make better decisions and learn to slide and move inside the pocket and not spin in a circle and run backwards!
Brady, Rivers, Hodges, Dalton, Brees, Darnold, Moore, Jones, Winston
As you can easily see, there are plenty of successful QBs who aren't the most mobile. Eason has good enough feet. He just needs more reps dealing with pressure and dealing with it effectively. He's going to go mid round 1 to a team that has another option at QB. That HC, OC and QBC will work with him for 8 months on maneuvering w/i the pocket and he'll likely start wk12ish in s1

Just about everyone of those guys moves inside the pocket 200 times better than Eason.
I didn't say anything about running, but how about not being a statue back there?

He's not a statue. He actually moves pretty well in the pocket. He needs to stop spinning out to his left though. That's a horrendous habitMichael K. wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 9:59 pmJust about everyone of those guys moves inside the pocket 200 times better than Eason.

It was more than just that. Any pressure and he was pretty much completely ineffective.Vogelbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 10:28 pmHe's not a statue. He actually moves pretty well in the pocket. https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/jaco ... egUnuHRv2nBig, strong-armed quarterback who can make every throw in the book. Effortless arm talent. Changes the speed on his throws really well. Has the fastball in his toolbox to zip throws to receivers in tight windows… while also having the touch to drop throws into a bucket over a defender. Shows flashes of excellent ball placement at all three levels of the field. Uncanny pocket presence. Poise and demeanor under pressure is like an NFL veteran. Adept at making pre and post-snap adjustments. Stands tall in traffic and will deliver a strike with someone in his face. Moves really well for his size. Not a statue in the pocket at all.

Wow, why can't the Huskies get a QB like that.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 4:34 pmhttps://thedraftnetwork.com/player/jaco ... egUnuHRv2nBig, strong-armed quarterback who can make every throw in the book.
