You can get Austin Hayes from the Reds who is hitting .372/.426/.721 1.146 OPS against LHP for a lot less$$$ and more productivity than Roberts. Plus it is known he can play all 3 OF positions whereas Robert's never has
Does Austin Hays have a wRC+ of 231 (with a .441 BABIP) against left-handers this year?

Does Austin Hays pull a hammy when he takes a dump like Roberts does?

I know there are some different spins and dimensions that each position may get. But essentially the CF is the SS of the outfield. Range is no 1. But they also generally have good arms.

It's like people don't realize Dom Canzone is hitting .315/.890 and Victor Robles is on the mend...

Sure let's stockpile OFs

Robles is not going to be back until September if at all, and you sure have a lot of faith in a guy who’s had 1 hot month in the majors

Yeah, i don't believe arm strength is as important as many think, range ànd the ability to read a ball of the bat

Agreed - Robles is no offensive savior. He's not a bad player for sure but he's not an offensive force. I'd gladly include him in a package for Acuna or Cruz.

Here's one of the many problems with Dipoto's bonehead platoon strategy.

Donovan Solano:

This is why I'd rather have Naylor in a trade if push comes to shove than Geno if you can't get both in a deal.
JUST TO GET SOLANO OFF THIS ROSTER.
