3-25 slump, but he should come out of it soon enough. I think JP's earned a little leeway this season and it's not like Young or Polanco are setting the world on fire even though they've been contributing.Vogelbomb wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 5:08 pmIt's time for Crawford to be X'naed from the leadoff spot. Move Cole Young or Jorge Polanco up there. Naylor in the 3 hole. We can use this deal to reconfigure the set lineup, Dan. Something like this:
Young
Rodriguez
Naylor
Raleigh
Arozarena
Canzone
Polanco dh
Crawford
Williamson
OR
Polanco dh
Rodriguez
Naylor
Raleigh
Canzone
Arozarena
Young
Crawford
Williamson

I doubt that the D-Bags have asked for those two, even as a starting point. They know we'd laugh at them. I can't even see us parting with one of those two. Even though they're just prospects, both of them are looking pretty good right now.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 5:14 pmI'd tell them to GF themselves and let them take some overrated trash from the Yankees instead.desbcoach wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 4:11 pmHeyman says it is going to cost Sloan and Arroyo for SuarezDonn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 2:47 pmThe Dbacks are ranked 4th, i hadn't really grasped how good their offense has been. I wonder what the highest-rated prospect is that we'd give up? Celesten? Cijntje?

Yea, it's a good question DG. I'm with you, probably not even 1 of those guys for 10 weeks of Suarez. Cijntje or Locklear might be the highest they could do. Locklear should be in the t100 but he's being dogged by his age probably.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 5:35 pmI doubt that the D-Bags have asked for those two, even as a starting point. Heymans off his rocker. BTV has Suarez valued at 8.1, Arroyo at 17.6 and Sloan at 14.2. Either one of them by themselves would be an overpay for Suarez. The two of them together would be insane and simply isn't going to happen.desbcoach wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 4:11 pmHeyman says it is going to cost Sloan and Arroyo for SuarezDonn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 2:47 pmThe Dbacks are ranked 4th, i hadn't really grasped how good their offense has been. Yankees have traded for Rockies Ryan McMahon so they are out of the Suarez sweepstakes

He's pretty much an average player at best, although he might be able to do what D-Mo does and he's certainly a better hitter.

Yeah, we're getting somewhat incremental, he's somewhere between Williamson and Suarez. And there's the utility, dipoto loves him some utilityDavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 6:34 pmHe's pretty much an average player at best, although he might be able to do what D-Mo does and he's certainly a better hitter.
