EPSTEIN FILES
Re: EPSTEIN FILES
There are lots of people that I haven't talked to after 20 years, but it doesn't change the fact that I used to speak to them and spend time with them.
Longtime Trump biographer says that Melania Trump was 'very involved' in Epstein's social circle. He thinks that she could be the missing link in Trump's ties to Epstein.

A new article.
President Donald Trump explains why he kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago
President Donald Trump revealed what made him stop speaking to Jeffrey Epstein for years, as he detailed how the disgraced financier "did something that was inappropriate" while visiting his Florida home.
While speaking to reporters during a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the Trump Turnberry golf course in Turnberry, Scotland, on Monday, Trump said Epstein was previously thrown out of his Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago estate for attempting to hire his employees.
The pair reportedly fell out of touch in 2004 following a dispute over Trump outbidding Epstein in a bankruptcy auction for a coastal estate, according to The Palm Beach Post.
"He stole people that worked for me," Trump said. "I said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.’ He did it again, and I threw him out of the place, persona non grata."
Jeffrey Epstein was reportedly thrown out of President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate after he attempted to hire his employees, the president told reporters while traveling in Scotland.
Trump went on to add that he "never had the privilege of going to [Epstein’s] island."
"I did turn it down, but a lot of people in Palm Beach were invited to his island," Trump told reporters. "In one of my very good moments, I turned it down. I didn’t want to go to his island."
Conversations surrounding Epstein have remained in the national spotlight in recent weeks, with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche traveling to Florida last week for two days of meetings with convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
Trump has not ruled out a potential pardon for Maxwell, previously commenting that "It's something I'm allowed to do, but it's something I have not thought about."
Last week, Maxwell was slapped with a subpoena from a House subcommittee as lawmakers continue to seek answers surrounding the scope of Epstein’s crimes.
"Republicans on the Oversight Committee were going to move to be more aggressive in trying to get transparency with the Epstein files," Rep. James Comer (R-KY) said, according to The Associated Press. "So, we did that, and I think that’s what the American people want."
The White House told Fox News Digital on Monday that it had "Nothing to add past the President's remarks."

He has Epstein on taped interviews, supposedly 100 hours worth. At one point Epstein saying Trump was his best friend for 10 years.douche wrote: ↑Mon Jul 28, 2025 4:16 pmThere are lots of people that I haven't talked to after 20 years, but it doesn't change the fact that I used to speak to them and spend time with them.

I haven't been paying much attention to this but it occurs to me its kinda reminiscent of Watergate. The pace of the thing, the feeling of there being this story behind the story. The importance of the tapes. What's funny to me is how MAGA relentlessly pushed the thing thinking it would be aimed at Clinton when it was obvious then Epstein and Trump had a history, that was just ignored. There was Trump back then telling New York Magazine Epstein was a terrific guy.
Vance with his typical flipflop lol

Are you implying that Trump only 'spoke' to Epstein and wasn't a friend of his?Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Mon Jul 28, 2025 5:29 pmAnd I once spoke with Drew Bledsoe, that doesn't mean that I'm friends with him.

Re: EPSTEIN FILES
I'm not implying anything. I am outright saying that just because you have [once] been on a friendly basis with anyone doesn't mean you have been or ever were friends.douche wrote: ↑Tue Jul 29, 2025 4:54 pmAre you implying that Trump only 'spoke' to Epstein and wasn't a friend of his?Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Mon Jul 28, 2025 5:29 pmAnd I once spoke with Drew Bledsoe, that doesn't mean that I'm friends with him.
How many people did you converse with in high school and never kept up with? Does that mean you were then and now remain friends?
The rich crowd always invites other rich people to their parties.... over and over again. It doesn't mean that they were ever friends.
Basically, rich people hang with the rich people of the area.
Re: EPSTEIN FILES
Sure, and if you read my post above, that's exactly what I said... "There are lots of people that I haven't talked to after 20 years, but it doesn't change the fact that I used to speak to them and spend time with them."Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Tue Jul 29, 2025 6:02 pmI'm not implying anything. And that was what appeared to be the gist of ddraig's comment... He stated, "That was in 2006. Nearly 20 years ago. Trump banned the guy from Mar-A-Lago. I don't see this as anything but a coincidence. Any of us talk to someone from 20 years ago that we wouldn't talk to today?"
I agree with that, but what I'm saying is that whether or not you were friends with someone from years ago, or that you haven't spoken to them in years doesn't change the fact that there was a moment (or moments) when you spent time with them and shared conversation (especially if said interactions involve picture or video confirmation). So whether or not Trump and Epstein were friends, one cannot dispute the fact that they spent time together and conversed.
What that means exactly, I do not know.

Re: EPSTEIN FILES
Just speaking with someone, even often, means that you are friends.
Being friendly with someone, doesn't mean you are friends.
The [rich] crowd that you invite to your pretentious parties doesn't necessarily mean that you are friends. In my opinion it means you are caving into pier pressure, to invite other rich people.
I'd love to see who I would invite to a party if I had a billion dollars.
Sorry, if I misunderstood your post, but I will stand by what I have have posted as well about what a "friend" really is.

Re: EPSTEIN FILES
Great guy, and great family. I went to grade school with him until the fifth grade I think...before they moved to Benton City and then Walla Walla. That dude was sure fun to watch. Was sure hard on this Husky fan to watch him in Pullman. Even harder when I read that he chose WSU over U of W heavily because Don James blew off a dinner at their house to eat with a booster.Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Mon Jul 28, 2025 5:29 pm
