Amazing that Sacramento is like that. When I play Western Softball Championships up there in August it's hotter up there than it is down here near Los Angeles.

Gilbert went out to shag flyballs and threw everything he caught up to the begging Mariners fan kids.

It's good for us to forget the four runs he gave up yesterday and see a good guy like him enjoying the game and making kids happy. As little as Brendan Ryan hit, you had to love how after game 162 he'd stick around on the field and sign autographs for folks.
