Kowar can come back with injury. Guy looked good. Only option!!!Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 4:18 amI wonder who might get the call.
In the minors, Michael Hobbs has continued to pitch quite well for Arkansas.
Sauryn Lao could come up to pitch in longer relief which is basically Thornton's role anyways.
Feel so bad for Thornton that did not look good. Hopefully just a sprain

When I clicked this link I was curious what you went to. But my mind immediately went to the Branyan, Yankee stadium shot. There's no way that shot wasn't at least 490 ft. I think this was 1st yr statcast was being rolled out because I remember it being measured at 450 or something dumb.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 3:47 amThere is one home run that forever sticks out to me that I watched and was left speechless by an M.

Anyways, love the call back. This one and the Kelenic shot to dead center at Wrigley. Mammoth bombs.

Legumina must not have options but still, the decision to send Kowar down over DFA of Legumina in order to create roster spot for Fergie was ridiculous. Kowar has a 0.85 WHIP in 11.1 and Legs is at 1.32

Sad to see Thornton go down like that, could be the end of his M's career given he was in his final arb yr I believe... But I am happy Kowar could be coming back. He's looked really good and deserves the opportunityseth8734 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 4:11 amWell we have Kowar who has been excellent. Yes we sure did though.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 4:09 amHo boy.
Guess they shoulda traded for another reliever![]()

I think he is in the witness relocation program or was picked up by ICE, because no one seems to know where he is or how he is doing.seattlefan-daBronx wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 4:23 amAny word on Gregory Santos???

Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Monday that Santos (knee) threw three "light bullpens" last week, Circling Seattle Sports reports.
The hope is that Santos can return to the Mariners' bullpen before the end of July, but it's a rough timeline. Santos has been sidelined since late April with right knee inflammation and will need a rehab assignment before being activated from the 60-day injured list.
