I don't think they will trade him. He's having a pretty good hitting season, and they don't have anyone to replace him (unless they think Young can play there).
well you and dt aren't considering the malcontent melodrama that may play out with JP being pissed for having no contract extension. If I'm Jerry I nip that shit in the bud plus his defense has been abysmal
You are such a drama queen. Not everyone’s a little bitch. JP won’t be the first player to play on the last year of his contract and he won’t be the last. Maybe you would act like a 13 year old girl, but most baseball players are professionals, and understand the business

 btw I took one of your fellow Utahns to the Wenatchee airport today. he had been working near Stevens pass building the metal nets that keep Rocks from falling onto Highway 2 for 6 weeks. Another job that nobody thinks about. He lives in SLC but travels all over the country doing it.

Can we package him & Luis for a 1B somehow. Better yet can we get a new closer while were at it.
Well, I'm not shipping Castillo anywhere. The guy is durable, consistent and pretty damn dominant at times. If I'm shipping starters, I'm shipping Miller and Logan Evans.

Closer should be Brash moving forward. Wouldn't mind shipping Munoz out and signing someone better for the 8th.
Yeah & what's the return gonna be for Miller. A banged up Miller. Yes deal Munoz for another power arm or something. That'd be my offseason goal is building the strongest bullpen possible.

Bryce Miller gave up 3 Triple A hr's in 3.2 innings today. He's still getting healthy, getting innings in to build up his arm and stamina and "working on shit".
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!
