A question to those who voted for Trump

Post by acctingman » Tue Aug 12, 2025 8:12 pm

I do not get involved in politics much in rl, let alone a message board, but im really curious about something.

For all the folks here who voted for Trump. After what has been going on for the last 6+ months, would you have voted differently?

I'm not here to try and stir up anything. I'm neither a democrat or republican. I don't associate with either political party so I won't be engaging in any back and forth insults (I'll leave that for the Mariner board 😁)

This is just a curiosity question.

I wouldn't change my vote:

Economy - Doing better then anything the dims have done in the last 20 years
Immigration - Under control, but we still need to vacate at least 8 million illegals
Men in women's sports - Is happily coming to an end
Racism - Is getting laughed at (since it doesn't exist). Just because you have a disagreement doesn't mean anyone is a racist
Epstein - Who gives a fuck
Tariffs - Are working to get better trade deals and that will eventually bring down the consumer costs
Taxes - I have no comment on this since I am self-employed so I don't get overtime nor am I a person that get's tips.

But the dimocrats are still out of control with PC, DEI and other bullshit stances they have.

Thanks for answering walla walla.....a couple retorts amd follow up questions if you dont mind.

You don't think racism exists? Or are you saying it's overblown?

Epstein files - so, if Trump was found illegally engaging with minors you're ok with that? Not trying to put words in your mouth but asking why you don't give a fuck?

Thanks

Of course racism exists, but it's such a minor thing that it isn't worth thinking about... unless you are thinking about reverse racism. I see more white-hating than anything else out there.

The way I consider if it's racist or not......
I reverse the situation and if it's not okay one way, but okay the other, it's most likely racist.

As for Epstein; if there was anything on President Trump in those files, the democrats would have released it while he was in his first term or 2nd term rather than all the lawfare, lies and fake impeachments.

If voting mattered, they wouldn't let you do it.

I wouldn't change my vote if he was running against 2024 Harris, 2020 Biden, 2016 H. Clinton, or 2012 and 2008 Obama. Even an egomaniac like Trump to me is a better President than those four.

I would change it if he was running against 2004 and 2000 Bush, 1996 and 1992 B. Clinton, and especially 1984 and 1980 Reagan.

Yes, racism exists. It's called anti-Whiteism, and it happens every second, of every day, of every week, all year round. Any person can say anything or do practically anything to a White person without any consequences, but if you reversed the roles, the left would be going bat-shit crazy about how racist it was and have you fired, cancelled or worse. There is a humungous double standard in this country, and it's finally starting to backfire on the left. It's still way out of control, though.

Based on the things Trump has been doing or attempting to do, i'm afraid if i could go back and vote again i would have to do some major Democrat-style ballot harvesting at nursing homes around the area so that i could cast another 100 votes for him.
