Garver is hitting .170/.515 vs. RHPs. Yes I am willing to "Risk" that Harry isn't worse than that. Also willing to bet that he isn't the first guy in the history of baseball that his made his 1st MLB start during a playoff race.
Our left fielder had two cups of coffee during playoff races and did really well. In fact, after the second one he had maybe the greatest postseason ever. Not saying that Ford can do anything like that but "experience", especially with a bum like Garver, is very overrated.
