Would you prefer they brought back Solano and Mastrobuoni to DH?

if I had a critical situation and it came down to either Solano or it being the first ML at bat for Ford without hesitation i am using solano, I don't see the hard part. He has hit .252/.295/.344 for the season and is an experienced batsman, why would I assume that ford would be an improvement when he hasn't faced ML pitching yet in his life? What would i be basing that on? His ML numbers? Kelinic put up minor league numbers too. There is no question in my mind that ML numbers trump minor league numbers

But Solano isn't on the team so who would you have batted instead of Ford? And that wasn't even a critical situation as the game was tied. Yes they PINCH HIT him which i assume was what you meant in these two comments from your earlier posts...

PH not DH. He was the best option in that situation and it was his 3rd ML plate appearance.

You were the one that brought up solano. I wasn't talking about a particular situation. I was responding to what I felt was complaining he wasn't being used enough. I don't have a problem with his being used in a game. I don't have a problem with him sitting and watching the game. I'm not looking to him as impacting the outcome of games in general
