Wow, Canzone 4 hits, back to .300. Consecutive knocks off a lefty. Dude is dialed in and a completely different hitter.

Not sure why I wrote 'a top' in earlier post and not 'atop'. I know my english.

How do we think Griffey feels about Cal tying his record?
Well, Idk about junior, but I don't really like it. It's kind of unsettling for me, a man who grew up watching Jr as a boy and fell in love with baseball and the Ms because of him. I definitely cherish Junior's records, like seeing him a top the leaderboards
I hope Cal smashes it which can only be good for the team, don’t care how Jr. feels, records are made to be broken
:!: :!: :!: :!: :!: Yep if he didn't want it to be broken he should have hit more bombs. And he did it in the Kingdome. Cal did it at the hitter's hellscape that is T Mobile park.

Well Jr was more than just a home run hitter. He hit .304 and .284 those 56 HR years with 34 and 33 doubles and clearly took his singles

I'll bet Gilbert was thrilled to get pulled at 89 pitches with 2 outs and only 1 on so that he could watch Vargass give it up.

I don't get Wilson's hooks most of the time. Gilbert should be getting pushed and tonight was a night to let the pen rest another day. I would've sent Gilbert 7 full even if it took 110 pitches
