Beating the Astros to a pulp was giving him a woody.
They decided to take precautions.

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!
If 4-0 could be called an ass kicking, this was it. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have something baserunners for these bombs.
Pec tightness...Hopefully that doesnt mean Woo misses a start.

Ricky was flat out the best leadoff hitter in History.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 12:36 amsure, he was skilled at working walks and understood it was his role to work them, but he also holds the record for leadoff home runs, lethal combinationHy Feiber wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 12:29 amHis crouch tended to reduce the strike zone.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 12:14 am
I think Naylor could be an interesting leadoff hitter. I like the idea of a leadoff hitter with some power. Ricky Henderson holds the record for leadoff walks and its not even close. Its just funny to me, if there was ever a guy you didn't want to give a leadoff walk to it would have been Ricky but they couldn't help not to do it. I think some of that was his power. You couldn't just lay it in there trying not to walk him, you had to respect his power. I think Naylor could have a bit of that aspect
