Cal gets to 60 home runs how does he not win MVP

I am pretty confident he will win it. So many writers are sophisticated enough to not just focus on offensive production.

Of course I want to see Cal win it, but you could make a convincing argument for either of them. If Cal wins it, you know the east coast fans, particularly the New Yorkers are going to go crazy. But on the flip side, we're just as bias about Cal. I think it's a dead heat, and I think the voting is going to be extremely close.

Agreed. I am fine either way. I honestly don't give a rat's ass about individual awards typically but this is a pretty big one.

Here's a funny stat about Kurtz.

Against left handed starters he's got a 1.037 OPS.

Against left hand pitchers he's a .639 OPS.

The guy must have like 1 hit off a left-handed reliever all year.
