If every game was on Sunday you would have 3 games in 15 days all season.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 11:44 pmits not nine days of rest, its three games over 14 daysD-train wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 11:39 pmWhy is 9 days rest too much???Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 10:41 pmThere's an argument that its the following Sunday game it impacts performance wise rather than the Thursday game

sorry, i don't see a relationship there at all. terms of football on a short week, its more than recovery. Its the coaching preparation, practice. Obviously its possible, teams do it, but its something that needs to be adjusted for. If there is no impact then why not play a 162 game season like baseball?D-train wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 11:41 pmYes I do as a matter of fact.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 10:15 pmYou really think working in a factory is the same as getting hit by a 300 pound football player repeatedly?

seems like the team that is required to travel would be at a greater disadvantage for a Thursday game. They are getting their prep days cut in half and on top of that they have to use one for travel

I am kinda pumped-up for this game. It's been a while since I have been really impressed with the Hawks. They do have a lot of room to improve but let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

it is, you want to discuss issues people in developing countries face everyday? I would be glad to do that as wellD-train wrote: ↑Fri Sep 26, 2025 12:11 amEpitome of a 1st world problem.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 11:59 pmseems like the team that is required to travel would be at a greater disadvantage for a Thursday game.
