Woman shot dead by ICE agent in Minneapolis

I've seen the videos (and this is where people pointing their cell phones and filming is actually a good thing), and while the woman was a complete idiot who totally overrated the importance of her existence, that was a bad shoot. She very clearly was turning her vehicle to leave and the ICE agent who decided to stand in front of her left front bumper stepped aside while firing a round into her windshield and then at least one more in through her window even though there were no further agents in the way. Even if you could justify the first shot, he continued to fire as the vehicle drove past him which I don't think you can justify.

It was bound to happen. I'm sure that a lot of ICE agents are professional in their duties, but there are bound to be some trigger-happy dumbasses and this agent was one of them. They should have just let the stupid bitch leave. Right now we're getting the "saved the lives of fellow officers" narrative but that might well change in the coming days.

It is her fault too. If you stupidly put yourself in a bad position, shit like that could happen.

And of course in the comments section of articles it's either entirely the woman's fault or entirely the agent's fault, just like it was either entirely George Floyd's fault or entirely Derek Chauvin's fault, entirely Ashley Babbitt's fault or entirely Michael Byrd's fault, entirely Kyle Rittenhouse's fault or entirely the dead men's fault. It just amazes me how two things being true at the same time are just a complete impossibility with so many people.
