Woman shot dead by ICE agent in Minneapolis

UPDATE - just saw another video - looks like it's from the ICE agent's camera - the women is literally hitting him - and the shittiest part of all of this is it was the woman's partner who was the instigator - outside the car harrassing the officers and urging her to 'drive' into him. The driver actually seemed pretty sweet and kind and her idiot aggressive partner was the catalyst for all of it. Fucking shame. Now I feel really bad for that woman. Apparently her idiot partner admitted to pushing her to go to the 'protest'. Now she has to live with what she did. What an awful way to learn a lesson.

I haven't seen that one, but did just see one of some broad behind the vehicle following the agent who fired the shots and while there's no audio, my guess is that she was flapping her gums and not helping the situation at all.

I also just saw another video from ground view and it appears that the driver might have seen the agent, backed up to give herself room to get around him, started turning the tires hard to the right and moved forward, but got too close to the agent (who probably shouldn't have been standing there, especially considering what happened to him previously; my stepson who's an L.A. County Deputy says that police are told not to do that), who then fired. That first shot might well have just been a tragic mistake if it hit her. However, the fact that he fired twice into the driver's side window as the vehicle was passing him, whether it was due to adrenaline or whatever, is not "self-defense" and he fucked up big-time.

That's the problem. ICE "agents" aren't trained officers. They're a bunch of illiterate rejects who took a paycheck. The training is virtually non-existent. They're given these uniforms without recourse.

It will never not be ironic that the party who screams "WE DON'T TRUST THE GOVERNMENT!" and quotes Orwell as their defense is now OK with the very thing Orwell was talking about. "Free" countries don't have federal "agents" in the streets killing people.

You don't know what the hiring practices of ICE are, how literate they are, or how much they train. And they're not all the same. And don't say that you do know, because you don't.

That said, I have the advantage of having a stepson who is an Los Angeles County Deputy. We were talking about this two nights ago and he said that police are told not to step in front of vehicles. Being on the side of law and order doesn't make you immune from getting your ass run over. The agent did the wrong thing and now he has to live with what he did.

I do agree with you on Noem and Vance. I've never liked that bitch Noem and I've lost a lot of respect for Vance. These people just CAN'T be impartial and just HAVE to speak to the hardcore end of their voter base.

I posted a comment on an article asking the question, "If she was intentionally trying to run over the agent, then why did her vehicle turn so sharply to the right when he was on her left?" Here are two of the responses and I am not making these up.

They slashed the training period for new ICE agents to 47 days when federal agents previously required 5 months of training. The 47 days was picked b/c Trump is the "47th" President.

So yes, if they're dumb enough to both stroke Trump's ego and lower the training requirements so they can meet his requested quota, then I can only imagine how terrible the vetting and training is.

Donald Trump became the 47th President about a year ago. The agent who fired the shots has been with ICE for about ten years. Also, they don't stop training altogether after 47 days, they do get on the job training afterwards.

"Renee" was the creation of unbridled liberalism. Angry lez. Decided to use her car to block Ice movement, She was playing rolling road block. Yeah, real smart when you're going against a couple of squads approaching a small platoon of well armed agents.
With 100% backing from Gov, Mayor and AG "interference rhetoric", "Ice Watch" pals which include Antifa, and the overall "protest" frenzy..... she was ripe for a big mistake. She ignored every officer command and lunged her vehicle.
WHY ? Why was she there in the first place ? The work of ICE is dangerous. Suspects have guns too. They resist. They run, They fight.
They put others at risk. Is it hip to show up and protest with a phone camera (or you car) so you can yell f-bombs and throw stuff while arrests are in progress ?
Apparently....and her last moments on this earth in the drivers seat says it all. Belligerent, confused and yet culpable. This weeks Darwin Award goes to Renee. Clowning for illegals meant so much....more than her 5 year old daughter. Sad.

That's another thing: WHY is a mother with a six year old kid out doing that sort of thing? Antagonizing possibly trigger-happy agents is just like people with young children who go freestyle-climb El Capitan. It's just incredibly selfish. And no, she wasn't making the world a better place for her kid, she was feeding her bloated sense of self-worth.
