Unfortunately the game was on at, what, 5 a.m. PST? Otherwise I would have liked to watch it.

Not digging the 3-on-3 format in OT in an Olympic final. They can go 5-on-5 or at the very least 4-on-4.

I also think the 3-on-3 is a touch ridiculous but that's the way it is, and the players need to be mindful of that. Lots of ice, little room for error.

I don't know if you knew what I was alluding to, but we would have shit-talked the Soviets online into oblivion for losing to a bunch of teenagers at Lake Placid. Their government would have shut down the Internet and sent their players to the salt mines.
