Free Agents - Cap Space - who stays, who's gone
Re: Free Agents - Cap Space - who stays, who's gone
Only other day 2 option is the other Notre Dame RB and then the rest are ALL Day 3 talent. Are one of those guys going to be or Game one RB1??
Coleman is another Charb at best.
Starting to understand why the Chiefs thought Walker was worth the cost given all the other dime a dozen guys.

At best? Charb was the 3rd ranked RB in the NFL last season per PFF. I'll take at bestD-train wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2026 11:14 pmOnly other day 2 option is the other Notre Dame RB and then the rest are ALL Day 3 talent. Are one of those guys going to be or Game one RB1??

Hey finally some good news. McIntosh has to be the happiest guy in the NFL right now. He is the #1 option for our RB1 right now.
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh is expected to return for the start of the 2026 season after missing the entire 2025 season with a torn ACL sustained in training camp. He has been rehabbing the injury and recently appeared to be back in training as of early March 2026.

BRob Jr. from 9ers is an option. Does JS do the unthinkable & trade all the way up for Love. Gotta have something there. I know guys didn't want him to pay K9 but you gotta have somebody & with the options in the draft that should of been a clear indicator. Is he even gonna keep the rest of those picks or is he gonna pawn them off for better pieces. Is Nwosu gonna get cut. Where's all this extra money gonna go towards. I still don't get why he didn't overpay for Coby. Now with Riq gone what does that do to your CB room?

That's the thing about AI, it's not very nuanced. There's good news about Charb as well. I don't know how much the seahawks are counting on it, probably some. They don't seem to be discounting the possibilityof being ready at the beginning of the season as wellD-train wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2026 11:25 pmHey finally some good news. They waited quite awhile to do the surgery. I think they found it wasn't as damaged as they had been expectingThe Super Bowl champions have some early good news about one of their featured backs.
No, not Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker.
It’s about the running back who is actually under contract for next season.
Zach Charbonnet had surgery last weekend to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. He got the injury early in Seattle’s divisional-playoff win over San Francisco Jan. 17. The typical recovering time for reconstructive knee surgery following ACL tears is eight to 12 months.
Do the Seahawks have an estimate on when Charbonnet can resume football-related activities?
“Short answer is, no,” coach Mike Macdonald said Wednesday, at the NFL scouting combine, off the podium on the floor of the Indiana Convention Center.
“The funkier answer is, it’s more optimistic than it was initially. So that’s exciting on like, being able to come back at an earlier time.”
As in, for the 2026 season beginning in September?
“It’s hard to put a timetable on those things,” Macdonald said.
“If you’re betting on anybody, you’re going to bet on Zach. So, you know, we’ll go from there.
“But he’s not gonna do anything in the spring. He just had the surgery a couple days ago. They had to let it calm down

Wow! 400 yards rushing for BRob last season, now I am getting excited! lolHawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2026 11:29 pmBRob Jr. from 9ers is an option. It is literally impossible to trade up for Love with our draft capital even if we traded every single one of our picks.
Any other Ideas???
I am fine with Coby walking. We still have Love, Spoon and Nick E who are all stars. Plenty of other options out there.

It wasn't as damaged as they thought but they had to wait longer than usually for it to calm down before surgery. Like a fucking MONTH longer. Can't make this nonsense up. Remember when they said Abe Lucas would be ready by game one??? His first game was November 30th.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2026 11:38 pmThat's the thing about AI, it's not very nuanced. From skimming a couple of articles... Seems the worse the injury is the greater the reason to operate quickly. If it's considered more minor you wait longer. It's like letting it heal a little and going about it more carefully. So claiming to be optimistic about it after taking what seems to have been an optimistic approach could be good news. It's possible they might actually know what they are doingD-train wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2026 11:50 pmIt wasn't as damaged as they thought but they had to wait longer than usually for it to calm down before surgery.
