The last thing I am is a cap expert. I do feel JS knows what he is doing in that regard. It can be hard to wrap your brain around the numbers but I've seen it referred to as a deal. I haven't seen anywhere it being considered an overpay. I do like how they jumped on it and got it done. The pressure is on the Rams now to get something done.

The Rams were the second best team in the NFL last year, and supposedly the cap was going to cripple them, and I believe that message was first delivered about five years ago. The NFL is making money hand over fist and the cap goes up every year. These teams that spend and everyone screams how they are screwed? Who did that happen to?

Why I am not the biggest fan of paying 40+mil for JSN. Almost rather trade him after next year. Way too much. Love him. Just not for 41 million.

If a team is going to top the market at WR, at least JSN is a good kid. He's likable. For example, when he was on pace
to be the all-time WR and then things slowed down, he didn't cry on the sidelines like some Diva fucks. He either is
totally bought in on the "team first", or he's smart enough to keep his head down. He talks to Jesus, but he shows up
at UFC fights with Abe Lucas. He's not too white. He's not too ghetto. He's ridiculously talented.

Sure can’t disagree. No pouting like Brown. Let’s see it now after getting paid and winning a championship. Let’s see if it changes any.

So the league won't make the Chiefs begin the season against the Seahawks because Mahomes might not be feeling up to it. Does that sound a little strange?

The Seahawks are set to kick off the new season at home at Lumen Field on Wednesday, Sept. 9, with their opponent yet to be announced. It’ll mark the first time since 2012 that the NFL’s season-opener will take place on a Wednesday night, a change that comes in response to the NFL exploring more international games and adjusting the season schedule accordingly

The Chiefs have already been tabbed as one of nine potential road opponents for the Super Bowl LX champs, but it doesn’t look like the two will clash in Week 1. The main reason, according to Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, is that Patrick Mahomes may not be prepared to play by then

“I don’t think that’s on the table anymore. I think from a league standpoint, there would be some concern whether [Patrick Mahomes] would be ready to go,” Hunt said at the NFL owners’ meeting earlier this week

“My guess is the [NFL] won’t want to take that risk,” Hunt continued. “We’ve all seen some of the videos of [Mahomes’] rehab. By every indication, he’s ahead of schedule, and has worked really hard to be ahead of schedule

So, if some computer spit out Jacksonville at the Jets for the first game of the season, you'd like that? They have the ability to make the first game of the NFL season be a big one, and playing the Chiefs without Mahomes? What business model would think that is a money maker?
