And then he proved it by taking Spoon and JSN in the first.
Interesting article in the Athletic about why backs like Love aren't taken as high anymore

I’d be all for taking Love at #32. I don’t think he will be there. If you can get a Bell-Cow you get a bell cow. All Day A.P., Bo, Lynch, Sweetness, OJ,
Even today you have several game changing backs. From the best power back in the game Derrick Henry Best duel threat of recieving and running Christian McCaffery, Jamar Gibbs, Saquon Barkley, Jonathon Taylor,
Those are the top 6 backs and they play a big part in making their offense hard to stop.
I am not fully sold on Love being in that group. Love is 6’ 212#s. Taylor is 5’10” 226#, Barkley 6’ 233#, Henry is 6’2” 255. He may not have the ability to be physical and hav e power being part of his game.
Gibbs is 5’9” but 202#
CMC is 5’11 210# (closest in body comp but CMC gets a lot of value from his pass catching skills.)
His 40 time is a 4.36 which is good but is he special? I am not sold that he could be a top 5 pick but he is comped to Gibbs and has elite catching skills CMC. A young CMC? I bet he goes off the board but if he was there I would grab him at #32.
We will see. I am for picking up another good RB in the draft.
I think we need C, G, RB, corner, edge,

And how many of those teams won a playoff game? Four of them watched from home and the other watched the Seahawks destroy him.Pharmabro wrote: ↑Thu Apr 02, 2026 7:26 amI’d be all for taking Love at #32. I don’t think he will be there. Our O Line improved by leaps and bounds last year. Do something similar this year?
