Nice spin Puka....fucking douche bag.
Re: More reason to Hate the Rams
He and Tiger can be roommates - thier fights over who gets to pick the xbox games should be epic.
I love the 'I fucked up so I'm going to rehab' move - as if the whole world isn't laughing at this utterly predictable and worn out cliche` to mend fences.
Literally page one paragraph one of the publicist 'damage control' hand book. Seriously - who do they think they are fooling at this point?
Today, Ted Bundy would just 'check himself into rehab' and all would be forgiven.

Where did he say anything about fucking up? His agent said he's focused on his personal growthauroraave wrote: ↑Thu Apr 02, 2026 3:46 pmHe and Tiger can be roommates - thier fights over who gets to pick the xbox games should be epic.![]()

I'm not saying it's not a rehab, but I am saying they aren't calling it "rehab".auroraave wrote: ↑Thu Apr 02, 2026 3:46 pmHe and Tiger can be roommates - thier fights over who gets to pick the xbox games should be epic.![]()

Re: More reason to Hate the Rams
I was pointing out he did not admit to fucking up...I fucked up so I'm going to rehab...is giving him way to much credit for self awareness. The entire PR was totally defensive. Yeah, he's into personal growth, who isn't? If he had in fact admitted to fucking up then there be some point, a possibility even of it being sincere. That thing was ridiculous lawyer nonsense. It seems obvious there's friction with the team, they had to come up with something. But they damn well weren't going to admit to anything with a law suit hanging over them. So it was working on personal growth lol. You can see them hashing that out in his lawyers officeMichael K. wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2026 3:29 pmYep, he needs personal growth, but not because he fucked up. Re: More reason to Hate the Rams
AI Overview +2 Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua checked into a holistic, luxury rehabilitation facility in Malibu, California, early in the 2026 offseason to address personal growth and behavioral issues. According to his attorney, this decision was aimed at improving his overall behavior and was not directly triggered by a lawsuit alleging a "biting" incident on New Year's Eve.Type of Facility: A luxury, holistic treatment center in Malibu, specializing in personal growth, mental health, and treating issues like alcohol/drug addiction and chronic pain.Reason for Rehab: Attorney Levi McCathern stated Nacua is focused on personal growth, overcoming recent off-field controversies, and improving his overall behavior.Context: The move followed a lawsuit alleging Nacua bit a woman on New Year's Eve and made antisemitic comments, which the attorney says arose while Nacua was already in treatment.Status: He is expected to complete the program in time for Rams OTAs.
We'll see if this works.
If alcohol and drugs are a part of the problem in my experience a person really has to go "all in" to recover. If he doesn't then this is just a "spin dry" short term deal to make everyone else feel good.
For real addicts and alcoholics there has to be a real desire to anything to get well.
It seems obvious this character has been out of control for a while and needs some real accountability and supervision.
The huge contract he will get will carry a lot of risk.

Yeah, he's going into rehab, imagine rehab. The very last thing he wants now for it to be linked to drugs or whatever
Steven A Smith...no kidding
Steven A Smith...no kidding
He wants to show accountability but at the same time he's not admitting to actually having done anything wrong.Smith believes the timing of his rehab entry is no coincidence, hinting that it could be a move to repair his public image before a massive contract negotiation. The lawsuit, filed in early 2026, accuses Nacua of biting a woman and a friend, as well as making offensive remarks. By checking into rehab now, Smith suggests Nacua may be trying to show the league and the Rams that he is taking accountability
