Just fucking awful.

This entire team sucks so much ass. I don't know why I spend even 1 minute caring about them.

Runners on base we dont want that. Well at least they don't. Randy swing at anything close with 2 strikes fkkkkk. Gore is tough. Rangers have some lethal pitching. Gonna be hard to score. Cant put the ball in play

If he didn't think it was close enough to swing at why didn't he challenge the call?

And this is why Wilson is an idiot to pinch-hit for him in the 4th or 5th inning (which never works), and it becomes worse when he then pinch-hits for Canzone/Raley the next time they come up to bat (which also never works).bpj wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2026 6:44 pmThe problem with how the Mariners use their platoon bats is the problem.
The Red Sox got production from Refsnyder against lefties. But he still had 1/3 of his plate appearances against right handed pitching to keep his rhythm and keep his mind in the game.
In 2025 with the Red Sox, Refsnyder played in 70 games. He had 138 plate appearances against left handed pitching and 71 plate appearances against right handers.
In 2026 with the Mariners, he has 15 plate appearances against left handed pitching and 0 against right handers.
That's not necessarily what's wrong with Refsnyder now, he was never really very good, but it's part of their problem in general, why they get nothing from their platoon guys. Can't jerk them around like the M's do.

Well, this game is over. Looks like the slump will be lasting another day.

Feels like. Will be lucky to make any kinda contact on Gore. Lethal stuff!!DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2026 6:53 pmWell, this game is over. Looks like the slump will be lasting another day.
Fkkkk gotta lay off that damnn Curveball. If Emerson has a good game today he needs to be called up for Friday. This offense needs a spark badly.

I think Woo will keep it close at least. Just need one or two of these losers to luck into a homerun.

Welcome to the team, Curly Joe. Hopefully this is his first and last appearance in a Mariner uniform.
