Blessed are the Cheesemakers - Life of Bryan Game Thread (Sun 19/4)

Post by mostonmike » Sun Apr 19, 2026 7:24 am

1:10 PM PDT / 9:10 PM BST — Bryan Woo (RHP) vs. MacKenzie Gore (LHP)

Woo is still 0-2 despite a 2.16 ERA.

MacKenzie Gore enters with 30 strikeouts and a massive chip on his shoulder after being traded to Texas in January. He faced us on April 8th and threw 5.0 scoreless innings with 9 strikeouts in a 3-0 Rangers win. We have already had 4 shutout defeats this season.

After the Saint George debate yesterday - today I'm channelling my inner Monty Python.

Bryan Woo - will he be the messiah or just a very naughty boy ?

Apart from the 21-year drought, the 116-win collapse, and the 50 years of historic ultimate failure, What have the Mariners ever done for us?

Go Woo, Go M's

If MacKenzie Gore has a chip on his shoulder no doubt it's due to his parents naming him MacKenzie.

Question on your guy's date format. Is that you you say it as well. For example, when someone ask what your birth day is do you say 19th of April or April 19th.

Gore has gotta be licking his chops. Seriously name a more loser of a lineup he will ever have to face
