If he'd have picked Bama, LSU or Clemson they would have made him the first ever 6 Star!

Re: Smalls Falls!
26 tackles on the season??? Didn't BBK almost average that a game his senior season? Good news on Garbers. Maybe he will beat out Sirmon.

The thing most don't realize about 247 sports... formerly Scout... their main recruiting scout lives in Auburn. Their second main recruiting scout lives in Orange County, CA...Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 8:00 pmIf he'd have picked Bama, LSU or Clemson they would have made him the first ever 6 Star!![]()
If anything, players from the West Coast, particularly Washington, get more recognition than they probably should.

this is a good thing. probably fair to say from the way he conducted himself throughout the recruiting process that Smalls had a Large opinion of himself. getting his rep knocked down a peg or two by others can only help speed up the humility/hunger/maturing factor that needs to happen for any athlete moving up a level, regardless of talent level. with Tryon, Bowman, and Latu ahead of him as pass rushers I would not expect much from him this year, probably even redshirt. but hoping for some real impact in 2021. i'm more excited about McMillan, who moved up to 38 in the final rankings. will be nice to see him flanked outside opposite Nacua and Ty Jones. Then the next year, fingers crossed, add Egbuka to the slot.

Great point. And yes, seems like he suffered a concussion in the game that was televised early in the season. I am not sure how much actual time that cost him. I also think he played more offense this year than before....didn't I read that? That could have taken away defensive snaps?57reasons wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 11:00 pmthis is a good thing. probably fair to say from the way he conducted himself throughout the recruiting process that Smalls had a Large opinion of himself. getting his rep knocked down a peg or two by others can only help speed up the humility/hunger/maturing factor that needs to happen for any athlete moving up a level, regardless of talent level.
