Well I know two things. Number one is that the Seattle Seahawks signed him. Number two they know his style of play.

So I'm pretty confident that he'll fit in just fine.

Sure, and I don't think anybody is questioning that.

Terms of his fit, I'm scratching my head, seems like a pretty natural fit. He has played across the line. I was thinking maybe his run defense but it says here that's strong.
Fowler is not quite at the same tier as Lawrence - and the $5 million contract supports that, but he completely fits the bill for what has become the Seahawks defensive line engine.

Versatility across the line
Known for his high motor and nasty, disruptive playstyle
Power rusher with high pressure rate. His 2025 was higher than any Seahawks player.
Skilled and accomplished run defender
It’s not a pure Boye Mafe replacement in terms of skillset. He’s closer to Derick Hall, Lawrence, or even Leonard Williams in that regard.

Three edge guys in their 30s. If they have injury problems we may see a lot of Aidan "mother" Hubbard, Jared "poison" Ivey, and Jamie "don't shoot the" Sheriff.

Yeah, I was pondering that, Fowler is kinda long in the tooth. There is that about him.
Dante Fowler Jr. has not missed an NFL game since 2021, maintaining a clean injury record for the past four years. His last missed games occurred in November 2021, when he sat out three games for the Atlanta Falcons due to a knee injury before returning to action

The 2027 draft is getting hyped as possibly one of the greatest ever. I'm betting JS gets an edge
Key Aspects of the 2027 NFL Draft:

Elite Quarterbacks: The class is viewed as loaded with top-tier quarterback talent, including Arch Manning (Texas), Dante Moore (Oregon), CJ Carr (Notre Dame), and Trinidad Chambliss (Ole Miss).

Star Power: Ohio State WR Jeremiah Smith and Alabama WR Ryan Williams are considered superstar prospects, with some analysts suggesting they could be ranked higher than the quarterbacks.Deep Class:

Analysts are already describing it as "impossibly deep" in certain positions, particularly at edge rusher and wide receiver, with talent comparable to, or exceeding, the 2024 draft.

Early Hype: The high quality of prospects has led to excitement, with some analysts predicting it could be one of the best draft classes ever, depending on the continued development of the young signal-callers
It's interesting JS sacrificed a 4th round pick
