Just occured to me, Love being a Cardinal, the rivalry angle. Love already putting up bulletin board material ...oh, it's on
Love, who was picked third overall by the Arizona Cardinals, joked during a press conference that he “felt bad” for Price moving to the Pacific Northwest.

He playfully questioned the city's appeal, asking, “What’s so good about Seattle?” and claimed he had never heard of anyone going there for vacation.

If you watch that vid. He Never said that. It was a joke by the guy posting the vid who was just slamming Seattle to be funny.

There was not trash talk at all. It will definitely be VERY cool to see those guys go head to head twice a season though. Love will prob get more yard because he will be getting 20+ carries unless they do a job share as well with the FA they signed.

Rookies with a good chance to make the Pro Bowl.
Jadarian Price is being dropped into a Seattle Seahawks offense that lost Super Bowl 60 MVP running back Kenneth Walker III to free agency. The Seahawks are expecting Price to essentially replace Walker. There's little else in the position room, with Zach Charbonnet recovering from a torn ACL he suffered during the playoffs. A huge season for the rookie out of Notre Dame could be on deck.

The Pro Bowl is a joke. Didn't Russ make it not that long ago....and Huntley?

Here's yards after contact per carry going back ten years. JS supposedly has stated this is an important data point for rating RBs. Price is seventh, what's also interesting is he's right between Penny and Walker
Ashton Jeanty — 4.76
Rhamondre Stevenson — 4.65
Travis Etienne — 4.51
Bijan Robinson — 4.40
Jeremiyah Love — 4.35
Rashaad Penny — 4.31
Jadarian Price — 4.28
Ken Walker — 4.27
Javonte Williams — 4.26
Jonathan Taylor — 4.24
Jonathon Brooks — 4.13
Josh Jacobs — 4.10
Omarion Hampton — 4.01
Cam Skattebo — 3.95
De’Von Achane — 3.93
Dalvin Cook — 3.93
TreVeyon Henderson — 3.89
Aaron Jones — 3.82
Bucky Irving — 3.81
Alvin Kamara — 3.77

Again, consider the defenses these guys played against. Obviously a lot easier to break tackles for Jeanty vs. the likes of Colorado St. Utah St. and SD state defenses than it was for Price vs. Ohio St, Penn St and Georgia. And this has NOTHING to do with the quality of your O line because after contact you are on your own.

He snuck in as an injury replacement but obviously a rookie making the Pro Bowl as an initial selection is a good thing.
Russell Wilson was named to the 2024 Pro Bowl (played in 2025) as a replacement for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who withdrew due to injury. Wilson secured this 10th career Pro Bowl selection after leading the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 6-2 record in his eight starts, throwing 16 touchdowns and only five interceptions.

Yeah, strength of opponent would affect it. It's also something I think JS would take into account. I just thought it was interesting them all together like that. It all comes down to scouting. And I imagine the first rule of scouting is to consider opponents I doubt its something that needs explaining to JS

Penny had a great Senior Bowl performance, I'm guessing that's what did it for JS. He also was second all time in yards per attempt when he retired. It wasn't like he couldn't run against NFL opponents

Beattie Feathers has to be top ten on the all-RB-name list.
