I didn't notice that at the bottom of Captains. He wouldn't be the first person that could "pass ". I thought it was interesting terms of an AI search. It was looking at stuff we would have a hard time finding. Terms of his being African American. I wonder what the criteria the NFL uses.

Over messages, he told her how fun it was to own a sports team. And on their third get-together, Edens and Luo had sex at her apartment in June 2023, according to federal prosecutors.

The brief relationship spiraled into an alleged extortion plot.

Luo, 46, was indicted last year for allegedly trying to shake down Edens for more than $1 billion by threatening to publicize videos and photos of him having sex with her.

Her litany of threats continued for months, as Luo reached out to Edens’s family members, told him she would approach investors, and pledged to destroy him, prosecutors said.

She was charged with four counts, including blackmail and destruction of records, and has pleaded not guilty. Luo, who was released on a $500,000 bond and placed under home detention, is scheduled to go to trial later this year.

Obviously they want to get the highest price possible but since the money is going to charity wouldn't they just want to get fair market value vs having it drag out forever trying to find someone willing to over pay. Not like the charities are going to get pissed off they only got 3 billion instead of 3.5 billion or 1.3 billion instead of 1.5 billion.

I don't think it was really about the money, it was Fatal Attraction shit. She felt jilted, had visions of marrying a billionaire. It's got to be interesting how billions of dollars distorts the relationships you have with the people around you. I'd like to have more money but not that much. I'd be happy spending a million dollars, a billion I think would become a burden.

There's no such thing as an overpay. The fair market value is what someone is going to be willing to pay. You find that out by receiving offers. They aren't dragging anything out. They are waiting for offers. She's legally responsible to get the best possible price for the beneficiaries. I imagine that's what she's trying to do. There wasn't a timeframe for when she was required to sell the team, there's still not

I don't think it was really about the money, it was Fatal Attraction shit. She felt jilted, had visions of marrying a billionaire. It's got to be interesting how billions of dollars distorts the relationships you have with the people around you. I'd like to have more money but not that much. I'd be happy spending a million dollars, a billion I think would become a burden.

If you have a billion you could just put in all in a savings account and at 3% interest you would make $30M a year. You could spend $2.5M a month and never touch the principal.

If I had it I would go all Hugh Hefner but instead of a Playboy mansion I would have and Instragram/Only Fans mansion with about 8-10 of the hottest woman on IG or OF living there all expenses paid. I would have a full time private chef, butler, Driver, about a half dozen maids, bartender and 3 Gardeners, full time security detail. A private jet to travel a week to 10 days a month all over the world. French Riviera, Monte Carlo, Swiss Alps, Running of the Bulls, Hawaii, Phuket, Thailand, Australia, Berlin for Octoberfest, African Safaris, Paris for Fashion Week, Rio for Carnival. South Beach, Vegas and the Hamptons. The Masters, the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby and Daytona 500.

I would have massive themed parties with A list live bands for St. Patrick's day, 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas, 70s night and Bikini night.

I would also build a replica of Sherriff Taylor's home in Andy Griffith's home town of Mt. Airy,NC complete with live size Wax Figurines of all the main characters and would have tours with 1960s pricing with all proceeds going to charity.
