That guy's going to terrorize us the way Aaron Donald used to. We're probably not going to win shootouts with the Hams like we did last season and really need to find a way to stop Nakua, assuming that he doesn't stop himself.

Going to be a great move for them in the short term but Garret is 31 and Verse is 25. 2-3 years from now I wouldn't be surprised if Verse is a better player than Garrett. Not to mention the salary cap hell they are going to be in. Garrets cap hit in 2029 is 64 Million.
Seems like an all in now type of move which makes their first round pick of a backup QB even more puzzling.
Re: Rams Acquire Myles Garrett.
Well Garrett is 31 and never played a full season on turf like they have at SoFi plus he has never played 20+ games in a season....that is hard type of thing when you are the man.

So beating them next year will be even more satisfying.
Especially when we hoist the Lombardi in their backyard. Fuck 'em!
Also McVay's hair looks like pubes. Total scrotum head.

Rams add Garrett and McDuffie, Seahawks add Fowler and Igbinoghene.
Re: Rams Acquire Myles Garrett.
Why do other teams always make the move we should be making?
That could be the difference in winning the division, and Super Bowl next year.
Damn......

By the time the cap hit gets big (2029) they could just cut him and not have any dead cap. The ownership would still owe him a boatload of guaranteed money, but if they're willing to eat it because they don't think 34 year old Garrett is worth $40 mil of cap space, they can do that and restock their team's roster. That's how you beat the salary cap.

Those numbers changed since I looked at them this morning. Did the Rams do some sort of restructuring after the trade?

The Rams have been supposed to be in Salary Cap Hell since they paid Gurley. I no longer believe in Salary Cap Hell in the NFL. You are either a bad organization or you aren't. The Browns are a bad organization and the Rams are not. So? My guess is this trade works out just fine for LA. Sucks, because it was bad enough worrying about Verse!
