A potential trade target for the M's
Re: A potential trade target for the M's
Is this the realistic list of right-handed hitters they could trade for?
Willson Contreras, Red Sox
Taylor Ward, Orioles
Austin Martin, Twins
Casey Schmitt, Giants
Spencer Steer, Reds
Seiya Suzuki, Cubs
Am I missing anyone?
[Edited to add Seiya]

There's that, be be an interesting target, don't know if they be interested in Castillo
Since May 7, Suzuki is slashing .202/.269/.303 with a wRC+ of 64 in 119 plate appearances. During that same stretch, he's striking out over 28% of the time, and has 3 home runs

We're about to face 3x lefties with sub 3.50 ERA's vs Boston.HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2026 6:27 pmWe need pen help more than bench bat but I get it.
We'll see if that's still your belief after that series.

Matt Chapman, Rafael Devers (if Giants eat $), Byron Buxton...
