Re: OT World Cup USA versus Australia
While I'm really impressed with our ability to maintain possession I think we're going to score here in the next 10 minutes

I can't believe they hired a fat to shoveled Russell Crowe to manage our soccer team

The best part is that the final, which determines the championship of the whole entire world, can end up 0-0 and be decided by penalty kicks where the goalie flips a coin in his head and dives in a pre-determined direction.

I've only missed 2 World Cup games all tournament, and this one has been the BEST, so far, by far!

Agree 100% - what a great spectacle. I might put in a vote for 1982 in Spain but happy for you to claim the win.Sexymarinersfan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 8:08 pmI've only missed 2 World Cup games all tournament, and this one has been the BEST, so far, by far!

And what's wrong with that?DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 7:54 pmThe best part is that the final, which determines the championship of the whole entire world, can end up 0-0 and be decided by penalty kicks where the goalie flips a coin in his head and dives in a pre-determined direction.
BTW It has only happened once - in 1994 in USA ironically. Only 3 World Cup finals have gone to a shootout.
