Oops, late to the party. I have some carpal surgery next week and have not been checking the board or typing much. If you want to assign me random players, that would be more than I deserve lol!
I did just that, check out the scoreboard and I will check out what carpal means.. hope all goes well.

And the round up after Round 2. Great day for TLO - with a 7-under par day AND all his picks make it through which might prove crucial. Sibelius and D-T both miss the cut. Darren, normally the king of golf contests only managed 1 player through to the weekend, his first pick Cam Young. Hovland, Lowry, Fowler, Berger and allocated guy Cantlay all miss out.

Into the weekend we go -

I should find time to go out and find an old abandoned golf course someplace and take up the game again.

What's it been? 20, 25 years since I swung a club? I still have the clubs, missing a driver, hanging all lonely and dusty-like in the garage. Probably cobwebs and spidery and scary. I know there are plenty of balls and tees in the pockets. A garage shelf has a couple boxes of unopened, brand new balls. Can one call 25 year old gold balls new? Do golf balls go flat on one side, like tires on an old car that hasn't been driven in forever.

Wellington Hills, Woodinville. Kenwanda Golf Course, Snohomish - All grass, weeds, maybe a housing development there now. Got to go where nobody can see me embarrass myself.

One of the golfers at The Open, Peter Uihlein, one of you have him? He's way out of it but he made the cut. Yesterday he shot an 80. He was one of today's early golfers, finished the course, back in the clubhouse. Shot a 66 today. I'm impressed with his resilience, I mean, what a turnaround.
80 to a 66, that's pretty good, right? Only 3 golfers in this whole tourney have shot a round lower. Wyndham @ 64, and two others with 65's.

Can the Mariners have a rebound like that today?

Hah! Maybe I will. Just read some Yelp (the whiner's platform) reviews. One reviewer said the "new" guy at the counter is a dick...the review is 8 years old :D

And the final standings.

Next contest is the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale 16 - 19 July.

I am thinking we stick with this format and the draft order will be based on our rankings of performance over the last 4 majors.

Current rankings;

2 TLO Idaho
3 Xpert DBA
4 maoling
5 baller
6 mostonmike
