Great outing by Gilbert. Hr may come out for one more, good pitch count but that inning Gilbert was using every second available before unleashing his next pitch. Gilbert is close to gassed, imo. However he only needs two strikeouts to reach a career total of 1000.

didn't get the strikeout....two strike pitch lined out to Crawford, glad to see Dan go get him. No need to risk an injury because he was clearly running on fumes. The day has been perfect so far, knock on wood. :D

Gilbert's ERA drops to 3.19 and a .95 WHIP...

What looked like a guy who the M's would trade now looks like an All Star with a couple more starts like this. Crazy turn around.
