Hawks vs Poo-triots 2026 opener game thread

Guess I'll go ahead and start the first game thread, I did last year and it turned out pretty well. And by the way, let's ignore my 2-6 record in Mariner game threads (which amazingly is only tied for third-worst with two other guys) as the Seahawks actually care about winning and stuff like that.

I have to figure out how I'm going to watch the game as when it isn't football season I don't subscribe to YoutubeTV or Fubo. Being an NBC game I don't think it will be available on YoutubeTV (which is cheaper).

Thank goodness the Hawks are finally about to start. Man, I LOVE this team and I'm really excited.

Gentlemen, here's to another season of knocking down all the bums on all the other teams and farting on their heads, starting with the Poo-triots.

50 years ago I could turn on our TV with rabbit ears and watch NBC with Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen. The government was still executing people via firing squad and hanging.
