Looks like that cheap shot on the slide was an issue. Darnold ruled out with a Rib injury. It will be interesting to see what happens if Lock comes in and lights things up.

I buy into the benching theory but at the same point his throws were so off that game looking like Kapernick that an actually injury makes sense- If Lock was active I bet they would have put him in-

I do too. Cracked rib...it's hard to breath like that. Now imagine throwing a football? I bet that is part of the reason he was reluctant to run it also.
