If my town has been purged of Illegal Alien labor, then that opens things up for the local work force. This forces the SCAB Contractors to either ante up and play the game correctly or move on. Like a game of Musical Chairs, a legit Contractor will move in to take The SCAB Contractor's place. Nature hates a vacuum.
The Walmart in my town might see some employees move on to fill the skilled and semi-skilled jobs that the Illegals were doing. Walmart will see more applicants sent their way from the Welfare Office that is situated 600 feet from their front door. So don't fret, we'll get along fine without having ILLEGALS gnawing away at our quality of life and increasing competition for limited resources. There won't be any shortage of Taco Stands either, although you might see a price increase...too bad.
The horrendous wait times at the local Emergency Rooms WILL improve. I see Illegals in for routine care every time I've visited an ER.
If we [legit, voting registered citizens] were to take a popular vote to decide once and for all how many foreigners we should take in, I would love to see those results. Make the voting as easy as a credit card transaction while you are standing at a cash register. Give people a month to have their vote cast. Attempts to vote twice should come at some cost to the cheater.
